Yes, the proposed scheme will contribute to affordable housing to help meet local needs and ensure a mix of housing options.

The project will incorporate sustainability measures through taking steps to achieve reductions in energy consumption, carbon, water usage and waste production.

How will the local community benefit from this development?

Will the project achieve biodiversity net gain?

As the site currently consists only of buildings and hard surfaces, it does not have any existing natural habitats. While achieving a 10% increase in biodiversity on such a site is not required under planning practice guidance, the project will focus on incorporating general biodiversity enhancements such as ecological landscaping and habitat friendly design elements to improve the ecological value of the area and support the overall development’s sustainability goals.
